To date, the only complete English translation of the Kuzari is that of Hirschfeld H (1906; repr. 1945), although a new translation, begun by Lawrence Berman and completed by Barry Kogan, is forthcoming (Yale University Press). An abridged translation by Heinemann I (1947) was published in Three Jewish Philosophers. Translations of some of Halevi’s poems were published by Salaman N (1924) Goldstein D (1965), Carmi T (1981), Levin G (2002). Franz Rosenzweig’s commentary, Ninety-Two Poems and Hymns of Yehuda Halevi is now available in English (Cohen R (ed); Kovach T (trans), Jospe E, Schmidt GG, 2000)
